Is there any reason for this? I’m not sure if it’s shadow banning or what all factors go into getting on there but in the past I’ve made it on there in my niche a few times so I’m a bit perplexed.

I use RHEL at work and Fedora as a VM in VMWare Workstation & my ESXi Server. I decided to ditch the VM on my laptop and dual-boot it Win10/Fedora 35. Initially everything looked good.
However to gain any benefit over just running a VM, and to be able to move some of my workload off windows, I need the official Nvidia drivers for CUDA/NVEnc which only works under Xorg. I also prefer to be able to do ssh -X from time to time which I think works with Xorg but not Weyland, correct me if I'm wrong.
The problem is that my monitor (4K60Hz, 2K120Hz) overscans horribly. It doesn't do this in windows with the official Nvidia drivers. It doesn't do this when it's powered using the Nouveau under Wayland.
Anyway, long story short, I have tried the following: sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia-470xx xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-470xx-cuda sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia akmod-nvidia-470xx
I would prefer to go with the 470xx drivers so it doesn't auto-update them on me without me deciding. However uninstalled the 470 and got the same results with the latest drivers.
Below is a dump of the edid as well as the xrandr --verbose from both nouvaeu and xorg. I thought maybe the timings being a little different between the drivers could be causing it, so I tried to specify my own under Xorg.

It definitely had an effect, but not in the positive direction, I was limited to 1080i and the 4K resolution never made it in. Modline was pulled from the Nouvaeu driver which was not chopping off parts of my screen.
My laptop's a bit old but it's still pretty good: HP Omen 17t w/i7-8750h 6c/12t 1070m 64GB 4TB SSD. I really need the GPU to be able to keep up with my workload. Any help cracking this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi dental professionals! I’m here at 12am super stressed about my appointment tomorrow.
I had some cavities filled a few months ago, all along the top right side of my mouth. Just this past week I’ve had new issues: pain with cold liquids and chewing, gum bleeding, especially with brushing, and gum sensitivity, especially with flossing. I’m not sure if fillings can come loose and be replaced, or if post filling symptoms like this are signs that I need a root canal. I know at the very least my gums are super unhappy.
No smoking/drinking, last cleaning was 2m ago, no trauma to the teeth, on a prescription fluoride toothpaste. I apologize if this question can’t be answered, especially without a photo or rads. I’m just really stressed about it and it’s keeping me awake.
